I do believe Gandalf in The Hobbit is played by the same man as Professor Dumbledore. I could be wrong though, I JUST saw the commercial really fast two minutes ago.

Nope. Ian McKellen has always been Gandalf and Magneto. Michael Gambon was Dumbledore for most of the movies
