+204 Put down the frickin phone and drive, amirite?

by Anonymous 10 years ago

you know how many people die because people don't follow that? "OH NO I'M A PRO DRIVER I GOT THIS"

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yes I do. And thanks to AT&T commercials, everyone who watches TV knows it too. It's almost like texting while driving is attempted manslaughter. It won't surprise me if one day it gets that serious.

Can't stand it when people are to involved in their conversation on the phone than paying attention to the road. Its ridiculous. At least get a bluetooth so you can still have both hands on the wheel!! l

studies show that bluetooth doesn't make a difference the distraction is pretty much the same as holding the phone the major distraction is focusing on talking and listening while driving holding something in one hand's hand is not the major issue

Not that it doesn't affect my driving, but I find when I'm on the phone and driving at the same time, I can't pay attention to the conversation because I'm focused on driving. Therefore, I avoid it.

I think people mistake convenience with distraction since the bluetooth is more convenient people think that distraction is lessened but in truth the bluetooth just makes the distraction seem less noticeable even though the distraction is still there I feel like I misread your comment though
