At my school, if you're tardy to any class but first period, you have to go to ISS for the rest of the period.

That's how my old school was too. At my new school, if you get three tardies, you have to go to ISS for the entire day the following day. It's a better deal for the most part but if you're out of dress code, they might make you put something in your locker and they consider that you being tardy and sometimes they'll make you go all the way home and change and that's the same thing.
