-8 People who cheat on their spouses, and their marriage ends in divorce because of said affair. The cheater should have to pay some form of monetary support, amirite?

True, but if you spouse cheated because he/she's in love with someone else, and thus not with you, you should get a divorce. Also, you could say you don't //have// to throw out your food because a bird crapped on one corner. YOu don't have to, but you'd be uncomfortable carrying on.

Only if the victim is unable to support themselves. In that case, it would be alimony.

I don't think everything needs monetary value. Yeah, it sucks that that happens. But you don't deserve money.
