+14 An interesting theory of why we can't go back/forth in time: our galaxy or universe is constantly hurtling through the fourth dimension, and we can move relative to the objects around us in the stationary dimensions (length, width, and depth), but we have not the means to escape time because of the momentum we have acquired, and cannot decelerate due to the vacuum of the universe we are expanding into, Amirite?

And even if we were to use the speeding objects to push off of to slow down, our perception of time would remain the same, therefore we could be accelerating, or decelerating, and wouldn't notice. All we know is that from 1/infinity of a second to the next, we moved forwards through time some distance
