I hear people say this a lot (I'm pretty sure this is a repeat, actually) but I never understand why. I can understand waiting like thirty seconds or something but why would you make yourself sit there and do nothing for five minutes before replying to a text when you're already bored? The text is giving you a way to escape the boredom.
