The demand for graduate degrees has increased such that today's Bachelor's degree is yesterday's Associate's. Given this fact, I think government-funded financial aid programs should be expanded to cover graduate degree education.

Pet peeve: when people say "I think" in a post.

It's becoming this way because it's easier to get already. If we made it even easier, graduate degrees would become more and more worthless as time went on.

Like we aren't borrowing enough money yet?

Nobody said anything about borrowing money. We can cut money from other parts of the budget and expand education with that (after we balance the budget).

The US federal government has spent over 1 trillion dollars more than it has brought in for 4 years running now! I'm afraid any increase in government spending directly translates to borrowing more money.

Ain't nobody got money fo dat.
