If it is OK to charge young men more for car insurance than other people because they are more likely to be involved in an accident, then it is OK to charge obese people more for health insurance than other people, amirite?

I do not think either is okay.

According to the CDC, in 2008 the medical costs for people who are obese were $1,429 higher than those of normal weight. Why not charge them that much more for insurance?
