What's it like, though? The only time in recent memory I've ever had an anesthetic used on me was when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I was already under the effects of nitrous oxide, so I really wasn't paying attention when they started to put me under.
Maybe a different anesthetic, but chloroform seems like some pretty nasty stuff.
