If you work/have worked in customer service, some of your faith in humanity has died a horrible, slow, agonizing death, amirite?

I was a cashier at a grocery store for a while and I would hear employees say stuff like that all the time. Honestly though I think you also meet a lot of very sweet people, but the crazy / mean customers are more memorable

I once worked as a caddie at an exclusive country club. I think I still hold a grudge against wealthy people because of that experience.

Great point. Where I work, the genuinely nice and lovely people are very few and far between. It gets tiring to be around so much negativity, but you're right, there are people who make your day a little better. (:
