In theory yes, but in reality, the power of the mental world can be totally neutralised by ignoring it, much like chat room cyber bullying.

I still say it **//can//** be just as powerful even if it isn't always even if it can be manipulated I get that the mental world can be manipulated more than the physical one but when a person is able to hear sounds and images that the physical one isn't creating the way someone can feel in the dark and when alone at home the mental world here feels just as influencing and powerful as the physical one both states are real

I think I see what' you're saying. It's like superman. Incredibly powerful, even though things (kryptonite and cold-ish stars) make him completely useless.
