If the internet was switched off for a month, it wouldn't be a catastrophe.

Shit would hit the fan.
The internet isn't just for recreational purposes; it's a real, necessary tool for governments and hospitals and banks and businesses and libraries and schools and families.

But...but then how would I offer my daily blood sacrifices to it?

Not for me personally but I feel like it would cause chaos

I think I'd be able to get used to it

years ago
my internet went out for about a month and a half
and I lived cool smilie

@fuzala I think I'd be able to get used to it years ago my internet went out for about a month and a half and I lived

when Anon said if the internet was switched off
I assumed that it was only for me and nobody else

I didn't think of it as a world wide switch off
I still don't actually

since this wasn't clarified
I'm gonna stick to my original assumption
unless OP tells me otherwise

I would live through it, I've lived through more than a month without the internet, but a lot of people, places, and things depend on the internet, and not just for fun, like Nita said. I can't imagine how much people would be truly angry.

At least I would no longer regret not buying any shares of Google.

Many people would completely/almost completely lose their source of income, myself included. Then I would be trying to find a non-internet job, with thousands of others soon to be homeless, hungry people.

I went without internet and video games for 16 months. I doubt the rest of the world could cope though.
