-1 You are someone who acts like a completely different person online, amirite?

I have "confrontational anxiety" (I got the term from StickCaveman) and in real life, I am quiet as a mouse and basically just agree with people.

Also I'm much less well spoken in real life. I take a lot of time considering what to say online because I //have// the time, in real life you have to respond basically right after someone says something so I sound like a bumbling idiot since I'm basically trying to verbalize half formed thoughts.

I know exactly how you feel; some days I try to speak as little as possible to try and avoid stuttering/making a fool of myself.

Most of the time it takes me a ridiculous amount of time to figure out what to say so usually, when I'm talking to someone in person, I either stay quiet or make the person wait for me to form a response. So far I've only found one person patient enough to wait.

I just realized I completely messed this post up...I meant to say You **know** someone who acts like a completely different person online instead of what I posted. Oh well!

I'm less shy on the Internet. Not that I'm all that shy in person, but I probably wouldn't go talk to a stranger if I didn't have a good reason to in person. I wouldn't say that makes me seem like an entirely different person though.

I'm shy in real life, and only try to speak to strangers when they speak first.

I'm just more confident because IRL I can't talk to people to save my life. But online I can voice my opinions on things. I am very shy.

I am the same person on line or off. I am friendly, but if someone wants to give me a hard time I can hand it right back.....on line or in person.

Nope, that's not me.

If you're not yourself, you really don't gain anything from pretending to be someone else longterm.

I'm genuine. I don't come online to pretend to be someone I'm not. I want to meet real people, not fake ones.

I am only myself and to try and be anyone else outside of such is too confusing.
