I appreciate your last sentence. While it is obvious, I like that you didn't say something like "tracked and brutally beaten and murdered along with their friends and family." It's all too easy for people, in times of extreme grief or panic, to jump to unjust plans.
I was on break at work one day and there was a news story on about two teenagers who supposedly killed a baby or something. Anyway, the TV was turned down really low and all you could see was what the story was about and how there weren't many details and I heard one lady sitting nearby say, "they need to be put to death." I couldn't help but think it was rather sad how easy she jumped to that conclusion without really knowing any details or if the teenagers actually did it.
I am glad actually. Often, when there is a incident like this people over-react, assume it is jihad, or false-flag, or they want to arest every Arab in the neighborhood, blame the tea-party, blame the commies or nuke somebody. It is nice to know so many Amiriters support a simple track arrest and trial approach. That is refreshing to me after reading all the insane tweets that day.
