You probably live in a society where the government is allowed to monitor the activities of, and keep perpetual files on its citizen. In the 1950's when this activity was rampant (McCarthy Era) many lives were ruined due to blacklisting Americans rebelled and passed laws to prevent this from happening, now many encourage more monitoring and support no-fly lists. And so history repeats.
