Sometime you think humans have come very far along in terms of advanced species, maybe even to the point where you think humans are near figuring it all out and are not so far from the advanced alien civilizations we make movies about, what with our growing body part from stem cells and space vehicles, but then you hear things like how we haven't quite got allergies figured out, still trying to figure out why we yawn or itch, and it's it's truly humbling and quite awe inspiring- we know so much yet so little. Earth is still young in relativity to the universe, if we've come this far in our short time, where will we be down the road? Science has made a lot of things that used to only exist in stories- is it truly possible to make anything come true with science? And since we're so young, and assuming there is life out there, how mind boggling is their technology going to me? How even more mind boggling to think we are the most advanced of those life forms?

I think it's a possibility that one day technology goes overboard
resources run out
and then
we're back to square one
going back to the way our ancestors lived

technically
a huge chunk of the population already lives like our ancestors did because of the poverty and whatnot

the population that uses technology is a minority
isn't it?

@fuzala I think it's a possibility that one day technology goes overboard resources run out and then we're back to square...

It's totally possible the recourses on earth will run out. Probable, even. Not possible for recourses from the rest of the universe to run out though, because nothing can be created or destroyed, only take a new form, and we can forever be figuring out new ways to use new recourses.

I'm not sure if it's a majority or a minority, but when our time on earth comes to an end, and it will because no planet or solar system or galaxy can last forever, they won't be the ones figuring out a way for a mass amount of people to leave the planet and the ones who are figuring that out not take every human being on the whole planet with.
