You can't explain a color in your own words, amirite?

semi-permanent or temporary flashes of quality that fall on a spectrum (some visible to the naked eyes
some not
some visible to one and not the other)

the dictionary says
"the quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light; saturation or chroma; hue."
