Soon industrial 3D printing will have the capacity to create buildings and whole city blocks

With the ever increasing development of rapid prototyping / 3D printing and its eventual incorporation into architectural practice - bridging the gap between digital design methods and building methods. The cities of the future will be manufactured - either component wise or whole scale - by computer aided robotic machines. What ethical ramifications do people see in this type of construction shift?

You're not factoring the material. We can't build functional buildings out of the same materials as we 3D print in, and we can't 3D print the materials we use to build buildings.
