Should there be a ceiling on the amount that people get as their salaries? what's a fair salary and how should salaries be decided/divided?
One's salary does not indicate one's actual 'worth'. According to me, salaries are supposed to contribute to your quality of life, your freedom to acquire what's required and what you need. Salary is something you get in return of what you for for your organization.
Every one works hard for their living and survival. Everyone also gets different level of education, qualification and opportunities to grow. But within a system or a country, is is fair that someone gets a million while another a few thousands as their salary within the same system? Is it fair that people with same levels of experience and qualification are sometimes likely to have huge difference in their salaries? I also wonder what's a fair and reasonable salary for a CEO?
