Will finding Earth twins fundamentally change our society, philosophy, values, etc.? If so, in what ways?

As the exoplanet hunt moves forward, we get ever closer to finding planets the size of the Earth, orbiting in the habitable zone of their star. With future telescopes, and within the next decade or generation, we will be able to identify the chemicals contained in their atmosphere, and define them as "habitable" - this probably being the closest in our lifetime we'll get to saying "there is life out there".
Will establishing a list of such Earth-twins, increasing in content over time, have an impact on our society? Will the knowledge of other planets like ours floating out there with ideal conditions for life change our view of the world, our teachings, our philosophy, religion, etc.?
If so, how?
