What would it take for you to gain the courage to live a life true to yourself?

By many accounts, the #1 regret of the dying is, "I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."

I've always wondered what stops people from living their own lives. I realize that fear plays a large role in this but is there something else? Can we all gain that courage needed and remove that regret when we reach life's end?

What say you?

We'll first you would have to get rid of the dead wait. Like the people that don't want you to be happy.

I think what it would take is the right push from family and friends, because I've always longed for adventure but never pursued it because I fear what it would do to the people I love.

It would take someone worth being brave for.
