You're smarter than you give yourself credit for
The grading system in alot of schools is comprised of the A-F scale, where A is given to the students who preform the best and F is given to the kids who preform the worst. My problem with this is that a grade of a C or D implies that people did better than you and that they would look down on you and label you along the lines of "dumb". This is increasingly bad when it comes to kids (and adults) who are in the process of developing their own self-models. This has alot of potential to kill selfesteem and self-value, and lead to lower qualities of work because personal standards are so low. How can we fix the system to foster minds of all types?
