The reality and potential of ‘technology’ is making education a global issue of unsurpassed magnitude. For ‘schools’ to remain relevant, educators need to get beyond the debates that revolve primarily around reaction and management– so issues like plagiarism , the citation of sources, issues of ‘reliable source’ to reactions to managing competing interests during 'learning time', objections to multi-tasking, using cell phones to collaborate and access information and funding issues for one computer per child paradigms - to start a dialogue about the true potential of technology to inspire curricular innovation.
