What changes have you seen in how people interact physically with technology?
I have noticed that technology has changed to be more interactive, which has gotten to the point in some cases to have almost reverted back to a time prior to the technology we are using. For example, children used to play ball outside, then the video game console was invented allowing children to stay inside using a minamal amount of physical effort to play the same game. After 25 years or so, the Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect came out requiring nearly the same amount of physical interaction as actually going outside to play the same game. Same goes for computers allowing a virtual storage of files that did not require manually moving a paper file. Now we have touchscreen computers that require you to physically move the items on your screen. It seems technology is moving backward in time to a more physical way of doing things. Another example of technology moving backwards would be mobile phones that got smaller and smaller and now the trend is moving toward larger phones with larger (touchscreen) displays. What similar trends have you seen?
