For this technology, can you use patient cells from an organ that is non-fuctioning due to autoimmune disease (specifically adrenals)?

It seems that this technology would be wonderful for replacing organs destroyed by autoimmune disease. What might be the regrowth possibilities in the future for adrenals affected by Addison's Disease, and are the cells of the non-functioning organs too damaged to use? Also, are there ways to keep the antigens that destroyed them in the first place from destroying a regenerated organ?
