Can we say we have democracy unless we ban the "performance boosters" during election campaigns?
Cycle of democracy starts with elections. I see elections as a race between political parties which needs to be free and fair and performance boosters must not be allowed to be able to find the real winner. I will park the "free and fair" for the moment and focus on "performance boosters". Majority of the so called democratic countries - incl. EU- contestants are brutally using power of money and money of the powers that be which gives them an unfair advantage over others. This way they create an illusion and appear to jury (the voter) as the "winner". In a regular race the winner will be determined based on their performance not based on the quality of the equipments that they've used in training (ref.Rocky1 -Eye of the tiger :-) This performance boosting goes over the top in some countries; the voters will be tricked into voting for a certain party in return of a full piece or a crumb for the cake.
