A University run by students?
This idea is not fully thought out, but when it came to me it seemed somewhat novel. This would have students actually working in the designated field of their choice. For example, accounting majors would be trained by upperclassmen and actually work by doing student payroll and other business tasks. Each major would be headed by a professional, but the focus is for students to be engaged with their work and place them in actual working conditions. Hopefully this type of education could begin to actually train students for the workforce. If worked out correctly, this could also cut costs to maintenance and employees of the school by using students for some labor benefiting both parties.
I would love some feedback on if this idea is plausible or if someone knows of something similar that is already being done
