+22 Matters of personal safety need to be more "do-at-your-own-risk", at least in America, amirite?

I wholeheartedly agree, but information should be given out instead of restrictions. Having a few dangerous hobbies makes me realize more than most exactly HOW many things can go wrong with just about anything, and the idea of letting people do whatever without telling them anything scares the Hell out of me. Many people with this line of thinking (not necessarily you) seem to think it'd be okay if we just removed warning labels and such because they think the only people worth being alive are the ones who simply know everything about everything. Whilst people should look up what they do before they do it, nobody has time to look up every aspect of every single thing they do. But instead of banning things, there should be warnings issued. THEN people can do whatever they want.

I agree, people should be free to do what they want (besides that which endangers others or property) at their own risk, as long as informed.
