I'm talking about the feeling when your siblings get hurt and it actually feels like it's happened to you aswell its stronger than the empathy you feel towards friends or anybody else in my opinion.

well I feel it with a lot of people

I'm not saying that I don't feel empathy for anybody appart from my siblings I meant that I feel it more strongly with them which is natural I guess.

some people don't have siblings some people feel this for strangers or parents or friends just as intensely it just depends on what happened

I have parents, friends and strangers lol and I feel empathy for them in varying levels of intensity for different reasons but in general when something bad happens to one of my siblings it feels more like it has happened to me personally than it does with anybody else.

it depends on what happened for example if someone had cancer he/she could relate more with someone else who had cancer even if this person was a stranger with a strong intensity

Although they may be annoying sometimes, but you just have this certain kind of feeling that you are feeling their pain as well.

Yeah that's a good explanation. My brother has stolen from me and I've been at the point of disowning him at times but I've also felt surprised at how angry I have felt when someone bad mouths him to me.

It depends on if it's the sister I like

by Anonymous 10 years ago

You should be glad for your brother or sister..... Other kids may not have any sibling and they may want some

It has been at times, even with my *literal* brother.
