They make a sound. I guess it depends on what part of the world you're in/what type of pigeon. The sound has a certain melody. 4 notes, if you had to put it on paper. This year I noticed it's a different melody... Not sure why. I familiarized myself with the "sound" since I was a kid, so I noticed one morning recently that they're making different melody.

It's probably because the NSA upgraded the processor and changed the OS of their flying drone army. No worries -- in a few weeks you will think pigeons always sounded like this :D
