0 Sometimes you need to dissect the past to move on from it and other times you need to not look back. There is no "one size fits all" method to moving forward, amirite?

I think we need to do both. Dissecting the past will help us know where we came from and where we're headed. Studying the past and history helps to not make the same mistakes. But, you shouldn't live in the past. You should live in the present and look forward to the future. We shouldn't forget where we came from, but we shouldn't dwell on it.

I feel like a baby for not having "a past" that needs to be abandoned. It might jave something to do with me being attached to very little and not being emotional about much of anything.

Binge eating gelato and fried chicken while watching endless episodes of Seinfeld or the Big Bang Theory seems to fix everything. It has worked for all traumas ranging from job loss to getting straight fries when you ordered curly ones.
