I would argue that two people watching the same movie cannot possibly see the same picture or hear the same message. They must see and hear different messages, this being the nature of individuality and the complexity of worldview through a frame of reference.

It's not an if and only if statement. They may not postulate the same message, but they can. The OP is pretty blatant and obvious though.

Perhaps. I suspect it is highly unlikely that they would postulate the exact same message, and much more like that the messages would diverge considerably.
