Yea and I never know the reason...
I know that everything has a reason even if we do not understand. We were born for a reason and the tracks we make here will follow us forever.
And sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.
I do that a lot :)
I tend to believe that most thing happen for a reason. You may not like the reason but everything ties into each other to form the string of time we tread. I believe in fate.
I believe in fate too
whats the reason people are murdered? starved etc etc ? this is just another rationalization that people want to apply to things that occur.
I absolutely agree with that 100%.
Everything has a cause, but not all causes are reasons.
There's always a reason it's just not always a good one
I think a lot of things happen for no reason.
Like your prayers may not be answered the way you want, but in the long run they will be answered for the best.
it is tough to figure out what that reason is sometimes.
I love this quote. It really is true whether some people believe it or not. God truly works in mysterious ways.
I think we need to draw a distinction between "reason" and "purpose". The reason things happen is usually readily observable in the chain of events by which they came to be.
As for a purpose... this is a concern for the religious. Trying to divine the future is a mug's game, though.
I don't believe in predestination.
I agree - to an extant.
If I release a stone from my hand, it falls to the Earth - whether I understand gravity or not.
Devastating storms and earthquakes happen, and there are scientific explanations for the phenomena.
Where I start running into problems is with stuff like fate or karma. That's moving into the realm of magical thinking IMO.
it really is difficult to know why sometimes
Things happen no reason many times
No, mosquitoes suck. Wasps sting!
Sometimes something just happens.
On a grand scale I would say yes. On a personal level, not neccisarialy. Choices produce consequences.
