Do you know we have hundreds of smaller, similar, sites here in the US?
Really, where the heck have I been
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A...27s_Stonehenge This is the best known one. Fascinating.
New owners about 10 years ago did a big 'makeover' of what had always been referred to as Mystery Hill. The site had been partially destroyed by a previous owner who began tearing structures down and selling the granite as curbstones and cobblestones. The current marketing of it as a 'destination' doesn't alter the findings of many researchers and scientists. Get past the surface to see what lies beneath. I've spent time there for over 50 years.
No offense offered or taken, ChuckTom. I can't blame you in the slightest, it's a real turn off for me as well. It's almost tragic to see how they've changed it about. I remember Leonard Nimoy doing an episode of In Search Of about it.
Oh that one fascinates me
Easter Island & the Bermuda Triangle fascinate me too
Oh I like to do that too. Some very interesting stuff out there & not sure why people ignore it.
Same here those are the best places.
Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone Park
I would like to see that one as well :)
Yes I watched a documentary about old faithful just last week
Great Wall of China
Pyramids? Maybe some ancient ruins
cool did you know the Egyptians where one of the first civilizations to give equal rights to both genders in the fields of education, civil rights and marital rights.
Wow! Shame where it's going today though
depends which part of the world you are referring to.
Egypt. Put your chains back on ladies!
i think thats an over simplification on the matter but yes their rights arent the same as over here.
I would love to see it one day.
Any of the 10 Wonders...
The Empire State Building or any of the NYC landmarks
Devil's tower Wyoming, and Sky City New Mexico, I know that's 2 but I find them both fascinating.
Oh nothing wrong with listing 2 especially if that is what you like.
''Statue of Liberty''
The Grand Canyon
Mount Vernon, George Washington's residence.
The Western Wall in Jerusalem - especially at night.
Mount Rushmore was great but I really loved Crazy Horse. I see I'm not the only one who is fascinated with him. The Grand Canyon also amazes me because it is always changing.
