Conservative Tea Party at Budwick's this weekend!
Now, that's funny!
Yes, I know - That's why I said it was funny.
Amen! The best political news to come down the pike in a while!
I'm dreading this next year, with all the fighting going on with the upcoming election. We both know how nasty people can get on the political posts.
I heard the news of this with some trepidation. I've been no fan of J. Boehner, but this may well prov to be an 'out of the frying pan into the fire' kinda thing. Can't wait to see who the GOP will elect to replace him.
totaliter frigus !
It will if someone worse gets in. Boehner couldn't lead his way out of a wet paper sack, but he had a lot more sense than many in that House.
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"
Courtesy of The Who. :)
Nothing was getting done or passed and he became a scapegoat. Happens all the time in good old Washington.
Who is that?
Speakers here have v. little power.
He was no leader, but he was a lot more sane than any of the other conservatives dweebs in the House.
