One of my favourite meditations used to be the simplest... You sit somewhere in complete silence. You turn off the phone, and no music. No distractions. You sit for 1 hour. That's the meditation. You can think what you want to think but you must sit relatively still for 1 hour. One of the most deceptively simple yet effective meditations I've come across.

Meditating is supposed to reduce stress levels, which is the death-knell to one's immune system. Having meditated on and off I can say that it is true.

Meditation is a process. One's life almost needs to be calm at first in order to get in the groove of meditating.

it's probably true if done right.

It can accomplish wonders.
