SHOULD WE EVER BE THIS COMFORTABLE WITH DEATH?

According to an article in Life, about the Catacombs of Capuchin s, Americans are very uncomfortable with death. The catacomb was started in the 1500's when their lease for the cemetery ran out. The child pictured above died in 1920 and that photo was of her in 1990. They embalmed them to stay. Why? So that family could come visit, hold their hand, and say the Lord's prayer with them. You can pay to view the over 8000 bodies placed there in different posses. I think that is wrong! Those people deserve privacy and respect. All you are doing is fooling yourself, and not moving on. You are talking to a shell. But this is one American, who I admit, is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with death.
