https://youtu.be/bwSd6pd5UAQ It's obvious from your posts here that you're suffering, so I'm posting this for you all.

We all have some sad things going on for sure. I'm just hoping that this beautiful little girl singing this exact song might make you feel a little better.

Well there it is. I had trouble adding it so I just put it in as a comment.
It's just above.

Nice Jerry...

@Sukiesnow Nice Jerry...

It kind of makes you feel better, you know? No matter what, there is some goodness. There is purity and love. I dig it.

@Sukiesnow Nice Jerry...

I'm a big softy. Goosebumps.

@Sukiesnow Nice Jerry...

Love is all I need Sukie.

She has a gift that's for sure.

This girl has incredible talent, and the melody is haunting.
[Here it comes]

But, this girl, this song, this venue reminds me of the abuse bestowed on little starlets like Jon Benet Ramsey. She's to young, too innocent to sing that song. Do you know the song - really?

The Sarah McLachlan song is about the heroin overdose death of Jonathan Melvoin, the Smashing Pumpkins touring keyboard player. Read the lyrics, knowing the context - maybe with little Jackie singing in the background.

Not exactly a Hallmark moment anymore - is it?

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay

There's always some reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard, at the end of the day

I need some distraction
Oh, beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins

And maybe empty
Oh, and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back

The storm keeps on twisting
Keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack

It don't make no difference
Escape…

@JerryHendrickson I had no idea.

I know Jerry, I guessed as much.

There's no getting around the fact that the girl is way talented, and if you don't know the words, or don't listen to them - the melody alone is really emotional.

It was not my intent to slam you or anyone else for that matter. Just to be more aware I guess.

Thanks so much for not taking offense, cuz again, none was intended.

I did not know the "story" behind this song I've loved, ever since I first heard it's writer singing it. I do not like any less, because it's about addiction.

The now young woman singing it in the video, is surely talented.
