Are black folks too easily upset these days?

I was trying to reason with a black guy was really a supremacist, meaning he wanted an empire and complained about blacks being at the bottom, and he was like, "We should rule the world," and I was saying, "Rule the world? Why? There's other ways to be superior." And then he says, "Oh I see we're at the bottom but we can still have some pride. We can be proud little niggaz." And in my mind I'm saying, "Why are you so mad?" saying, I'm against imperialism. I'm Puerto Rican. I would never want to rule over someone else. I wasn't attempting to belittle them. I hate imperialism and segregation and all of that, but I feel like many take things to heart too easily.
