Where's the guide? lol I certainly don't care about scores, points, etc here on Amirite, and I'm sure most of us don't either. If you can't take them to the bank, they are useless, in my opinion.
Sorry I put it in the comments
For whatever reason I have only ever been interested in votes. I guess as a gauge to how engaging my posts are. Never really cared about whether people agree or disagree, just totally number of people who voted one way or another.
Yep. I guess it is. There's been a trend toward commenting without voting. Oh well, all good things must end.
Also discussions about thumbs down, which might be bothersome in the moment yet do nothing to change a posters standing in the Amirite community (which seems to matter greatly to some, even some who claim it doesn't)
It's a nice idea but as a feature it is poorly executed on this site.
Followers and number of opinions posted, are noted by hovering over someone avatar.
Only Loves, Favs, 'Thoughts' and Achievements count in the 'Hall of Fame' (nothing else matters there.)
If your profile is private then no other stats are known to anyone but you.
If your profile is public than
As far as comment score (i.e., thumbs up or down)
only an average is shown on the profile page.
Going to the comment tab on someone's profile will let you sort them by 'score'
If your profile is private no one can tell how many loves, favorites, or agrees you have.
This is on the 'full' site, if you're on mobile it is even less information on thumbs ups and most other stats.
Also the hover over function is hit or miss, so number of followers is hard to find.
That stuff doesn't really float my boat, but I gather some are into it. Now if we could redeem our points (or whatever) for t-shirts or mugs or something, then I might be interested.
