Because that's what 'billionaires' do. They do whatever it takes to enrich themselves. The only way things will change is if we elect people with no desire for money.

Trump is in it for the money, so he's caught in another big lie. He has no intention of working for the middle class Americans, just the big wigs. What's so very sad is his supporters believed his lies.

And when they open their eyes, they will really rebel against him. He should be very worried.

Corporations do not have our best interests at heart. They have their own. People say Oh well the consumer has the power to go elsewhere but that doesn't work if ALL the companies do the same rotten thing.

The same applies to professional POLITICIANS, who have their own interests (and re-election) at heart. In fact, you can substitute 'corporations/companies' above with Politicians and the statement would be as true!

We've been giving these politicians a long time to get it right and they have mainly failed us. Maybe it's time to give some businessmen a chance.

I agree with the first half but for the second half no. It's because of businessmen that politics are the way they are. Superpacs, bribes.... I mean "Lobbying", fucking bailouts. It's sickening

And who are they buying off with bribes/lobbying? Politicians. Ever wonder how so many go into politics with average wealth and come out super wealthy? Sure isn't because of the salaries. One way to curb that is term limits, but that won't happen without a Constitutional Convention.

We've had politicians running this country --- as I said, time to give non-politicians a chance.

Okay.....corporations have been the ouopet masters of politicians for decades and decades. So now we are nit dealing with the puppets, but their masters. They have cut out the middle men. But.....their motives are still the same. Personal enrichment. It will all become clear. Promises that were made ate alrwady being broken. Big business will excel. The middle and under classes are gonna eat it. If im am wrong, i will admit it. I would live to be wrong. But, i fear i am not

Who are you going to send to deal effectively in a world that is dominated by corporations? Academics who have never lived in the real world? Political hacks who'll be asking them for donations next week? Some stoned hippies perhaps? You need to send people who understand that world, who are masters of that world. Do you think corporations can bamboozle someone like Tillerson?
He knows all their tricks.

This is how. Anti-establishment in this instance is speaking of the political establishment, not corporate.

Sometimes you have to get talent from the pool of those you are going to fight.

Ron paul and Rand paul, where the only true anti establishment leaders, but people prefer to vote bewteen evil #1 Hilary,. and evil #2 trump.
