Most of us live in the present and address concerns for the present and the future, not trying to dig up things from 1000 years ago and claim they are relevant today. Just a question for ya. How many holy wars created by Christians, or any religion other than islam, have you experienced in your short life? I'll make it easier for you. How many organized religions, other than islam, have conducted and promoted mass killing of everyone who did not convert to their religion, in your parents, grandparents, great grandparents or even since the US was founded?
Thank goodness you don't teach History then haha
They also like doing drugs these days
I know, so many things messing up future generations :/
Islam has always been a problem.
This does not negate my post and is true! Thank you for you input! :)
And twice as ignorant to think they aren't the most violent religion at this time.
It's also ignorant to think the crusades existed in a vacuum. They were in direct response to centuries of muslim violence and conquest. People finally had enough of their crap, once they took over the holy land and closed it to all non-muslims. In other words, they were begging for an @$$ whooping.
As I live in a mostly Catholic country, and our school system is not really into changing reality for a moronic agenda, I'm well aware of the History between Portugal and Religion, and it's a long one. Not pretty either. So, you're right, only someone ignorant of the past would think only Islam has an history with violence.
