Despite the beliefs of many kids, homework is not pointless, and actually helps you learn, amirite?

If you don't get it in school, how's homework going to help?

if you dont get it in school, what makes you think homework will help?

Homework is just a review of what you learned, you don't usually obtain any knowledge by doing it. (unless it's reading out of a textbook or somthing.)

It reinforces what you've already learned in school. The best way to move something from short term memory to long term memory (where you can actually use it) is repitition.

It's pointless work after the 7 hours of work that we just did, lugging our books home, doing the work we don't want to do but will get punished for if we don't, we wake up at 6 o' clock to go to a place that we complain about all day, and then they add insult to injury by sending work home with you, if you adults had to bring your work home with you, you would complain and swear about your boss too.

Some homework is pointless. Not all of it, but the pointless portion is irritating.

Pointless can help reinforce what you learn in school, or you can have idiotic teachers who assign homework just for the sake of assigning it. Then it's just a time waster.

My French teacher gives us like 2 pages of work after we learn something, and that's WHY I'm actually good at French.
