Oh lately my medication has been giving me a headache. All I can really do is take some ibuprofen.
A 30 pill box of aspirin usually fixes me up for almost a year.
I tend to buy Tylenol which I only take as a last resort. Sadly these headaches have been extremely terrible.
Sorry to hear that, I try to take less medicine because it's always a two edged sword with them but headaches is something I cant stand.
Thank ya. Normally I don't take medicine however I am currently on three till I have my surgery. It's one of the drawbacks of pushing my surgery out to a later date when I should have had it two weeks ago
Surgery? Wow I hope it goes well, may I ask what will it be?
Thank ya. I have to have my gallbladder removed. It's slightly worse than what most people experience plus they are doing a biopsy the same time. I will have it done on February 7th.
I hope it goes extremely well. Even though I'm going to be in the medical field, laying down under a scalpel slightly terrifies me.
Its being put under that terrifies me. I was wide awake when I had my emergency C-Section & it didn't bother me at all.
Good luck on your medical career.
Thanks, I have a 5 stage anatomy exam that terrifies me too.
Most welcome. Oh that would terrify me too but I have faith that you will do great.
That just means you either overestimate me or underestimate the material , but I'm more confident in the practical test where we have to note the muscle, nerve, or blood vessel from the cadavers.
Nah I just have faith in people.
That would be kinda interesting but I would be distracted & waiting for the cadaver to jump up like in the horror movies. This is why I am not in the medical field.
It's not really a nervous setting like one would expect, they're basically brown, stiff, thin mummy looking things. Me: Is that the external jugular vein? Assistant: I really hope so...
I think it would be an interesting field. My sister use to be an RN & she loved it.
Hey Will. Suntanned?
I feel you, I hate posts I can't answer or ones repeated so much you want to jump off a cliff.
It's going to be an interesting chapter of your country's history no doubt.
Oh, sorry. I heard about Trudeau, he seems a bit....funny
Ooooh so that's why I saw all those Canadian flags with a marijuana leaf instead of a maple leaf.
He's okay. Mr Muscles just can't wait to get Justin into the gym...:)
Thinking too much can give me a headache. I self massage and take a Tylenol.
I feel sympathy for ppl who get migraines. They are the worst.
If my headaches get really bad I have an arsenal of remedies.
When I go to bed and overthink things it usually kills my sleep, I make the best arguments for imaginary situations and things that I cant affect anymore though!
Ha ha... We ALL do that.
It's such fun...NOT.
Staring at a computer screen most of my waking hours. It's usually nothing I have to treat. I just relax when I get home and if necessary I'll take 200-400mg ibuprofen.
No carpal tunnels?
I have those clencher hand grips... I guess they help a bit.
I have carpal tunnels. It sounds like you do not. That is good! I'm not sure how to avoid it, except having good ergonomics and occasionally stretching. I used to exercise my forearms quite a bit. I'm not sure if that helped, hurt, and made no difference whatsoever.
You have CT? Of course...you aren't prepared to work on a touch screen.
I use an iPad with a magnetic keyboard...makes it seem like a laptop... Of course there are sacrifices but otherwise it's okay.
And I haven't noticed that weakness and pain in my wrist....at all.
Yes I do. I've been a software developer for over 30 years now, and I only developed carpal tunnel over the past year or so. I blame Amirite?
Recently I started using my laptop almost every night. When I do my hands are probably not in the best positions.
You are right to blame Amirite. I blame Amirite for a couple of things.
But your laptop doesn't have a touch screen. (?)
No. It's a standard Windows laptop.
Using a touch screen have given my hands a variety of movements...defraying the issues I had with carpal tunnels.
Not eating for too long and being awake for too long. Normally, eating or sleeping fixes it.
Also, in summer, the heat is my problem. I keep myself to the shadow.
Cerebral tonsillar ectopia. All i can do is eat some cannabis and take 800 mg motrin. Somedays worse then others. Certain things you just learn to live with.
I'm gonna take cannabis. When you eat it how do you eat it? And why not make it into a tea? That disgustin?
I make it into butter. Canabutter. Then eat it on toast with peanut butter.
Its an aquired taste.
You can make about anything with ot.
Look up how to prepare it though. Just eating weed will get you mowhere.
school and then i sleep
Lack of oxygen, I simply slow down and breath more. I don't know why it is but I don't just breath big without thinking on it. OK everyone sometimes real headaches come from no place- I get eye ack from looking at books and monitors too long I also learned to relax my face and head to the point it feels like it has gone numb. Practice that and no more drugs will be needed.
