It is unbelievable what crap you build up over time. Tools, clothes, knickknacks, souvenirs, and crap! We've been in the same house for 22 years and if we were to move now I would have to get a big dumpster parked on the front lawn. Ha!
Oh I learn I have way to much of everything
This is a good time to sell that set of enclyopedias. Quickly.:)
Oh I gave them away already
You could have sold them... Really. Never miss an opportunity to make money.
Sadly I miss a lot of those opportunities.
Nevermind. This is an opportunity to leave the past in the past, and move on.
Slough off as many clothes to your eldest daughter. She's starting fresh; she has a lot of roooommm...
Oh okay. I really got to do that this year
You and me, both.
I gave (got rid of) a lot of clothes to my family. Always look for people your size and warm up to them quickly...they'll be charmed.
Nevermind - got rid of - my clothes are excellent and most were designer.
I have things of my parents that I don't need just can't seem to let go of the stuff
That was one of my older sister's department.
Of course everyone jumped on the valuables quickly... But objects that were historical but broken...or their turquoise sofa...well...they were up for grabs...
I took the broken set of (very tiny-winy) cups and saucers...and just repurposed them... The sofa no one took.
And I took some of Mom's clothes. They were really cute.
You can't keep Everything.
I took the simple things that brought the greatest joys.
True & I agree
I haven't bought a book since I last moved.
I've since given away a lot of clothes...
