Toast and butter...
I would be doing nothing but sitting around craving toast & butter
With hot chocolate
Got throw in some marshmallow's too
Can't have hot chocolate without that
I was so sure you would say "with coffee"
That'll work too...not with marshmallows though
Leather bound books
That combo of leather. Binding glue. Ink. And milled unbleached paper. Heady, luscious and sophisticated.
I orange and pineapple.
Oh that would be lovely
Ocean Breeze....it has several layers of scented wax,all of which represents the clear blue waters off the every coast of AMERICA
Probably either lavender...or jasmine. I'm betting on jasmine as it is very expensive but very seductive. It lingers.
How is it never ending, tho?
The candle never burns out & the scent last an eternity. How....it is a mystery
Lavender....I just love it.
Oh I love lavender but can't have it in my home because my son has breathing issues & lavender brings on attacks.
Wow, what a memory that called up! When I was in school I worked a banquet where some decorator had filled mason jars with wax beads and pinto beans, trying to be original. One bottle on each table. Whoa nellie, did those beans ever stink!
Since reading that, now I want some beans, corn bread, & fried taters
My mother is from texas.
Her favorite go to meal?
Fried potatoes, pinto beans with chili powder, green onions and cornbread.
Reminds her if her childhood.
Oh that reminds me of my childhood. It was my mamas favorite meal.
My mother expressed a fondness for Postum because it was cheaper than coffee and she drank a lot during the depression. I found out it was being made again, so I bought a bottle for her. She was delighted, until she found out I paid twenty bux for it: twelve for the bottle and eight for the postage. She refused to drink it again: too expensive!
I remember my late Great Aunt talking about Postum. I have never tried it but I would like to do it just once.
Heat a cup of water and stir in a tsp of molasses. Postum also includes toasted barley so it is a bit darker, but this will give you an idea of what it's like.
I am going to have to check it out. Thank ya
