Advice is dicey but it's nice that someone asks you for it... It shows they think highly of you...whatever that means.
Depends. If someone came up to me asking advice on how to rob a bank, I might have to pause and think of what they think of me.
What if they cut you in for 20 Million?..
Since this is public forum... I would decline, obviously
Okay, I respect your privacy..
While it is nice that someone thinks highly to ask me for advice I always have to question if that is the best choice. I can't even get my own life straight, I am probably the last person in the world that should offer advice.
Believe it hon...you are qualified...with everything you've been through...
Besides...you can see someone else's life much more clearly than you can your own....
Oh I totally agree ya sure can
Yes, it's nice because you feel trusted and respected.
It depends who is doing the asking? I hate it when my sister asks for advice, because no matter what I say she will argue with me. lol
Sit her down. Say: okay. But you can't say anything to what I say. Nothing good or bad...
Works every time.
hahah easier said than done. She argues with everyone, besides she's my big sister, lol
When I get someone like that, I say something like...
Why?, you're just going to argue with me...
Then they normally say they won't... and I give my advice and I point out when they start arguing.
Of course, some people like that, already know the right answer, but they (for what ever reason) don't want to take that path, and they'll ask someone to give the right answer so they can play devils advocate with someone else, since they're tried of doing it themselves, and/or trying to get someone to agree with them about not making the right choice.
Examples that come to mind, normally involve, when someone should breakup with someone, but they don't want to... they know they should... but still don't want too... so they ask for advice... looking to for someone to either back them up or argue points against them, so it's not just in their head but out loud too.
My sister never shuts up and she is always right,,,,,just ask her. lol
Okay, StarzAbove's Sister... are you always right? Including right handed? ... if so... then why are you left brained?
lol I'll tell her you said that...lol lol That should go over like a lead balloon. lol
Is she on here? If it's gonna go over like a lead balloon then why are you going to tell her?
But human brains are reverse of are bodies. So right handed people think more with their left side of their brain and left handed people think more with the right side of their brain.
That's why some of us might be left handed but we think with the right mind
No she isn't, she would get booted off right away. lol
lol, right away? Dang she must like to argue then lol
She can't get along with anyone, not even her own daughters. I just keep my mouth shut when I'm around her, because I know it will turn into a fight.
Yeah that sounds kind of sad ... and I wouldn't want to be involved... I'll just ask if her younger sister is available KIDDING!
Why hmmm? Do you think I'd be able to get away from that one? :P :)
So bad...heh heh...
Do you think i should agree?...
Yes... Of course. Without a doubt... That's why I've asked you for advice.
Yea, i was just asking you for your advice..
Of the two of us...you are definitely the wise one.
Well, that's mighty wise of you to say...
Even if one is Confident in their Own Wisdom/Compassion/Empathy , one can't help but feel an underlying feeling of
"what if my Advice backfires for that Person"
You can only base your judgment and advice with the material you are given.
Outcomes? Nothing to do within your control...
They ALL love the real you. Trust me.
I prefer giving unsolicited advice.
That's the kind everyone loves...
Depends on what they are asking me advice for.
I suggest not taking the advice of strangers.
