Mine lasted about 2 months. I guess some people can make it work, but I question how long or how much of a relationship they can have.
Yeah it all depends on the people, ages, distance and goals.
Only for a couple of months when he was working away. No skype back in those days, so lots of phone calls and letters.
Awww at least it did not start as a long distance relationship.
I remember how exciting it used to be to get an actual handwritten letter in snail mail. Ha!
I miss sending notes in class.
I haven't but nice to meet you love. 乂º◡º乂
They do if both of you are really strong enough, got support, somehow are planning to move together or something. Know few successful stories. E.g American girl end up marrying this philippine guy.
Gotcha!. Yeah some people can real deal with it.
Most of the time unless there are other circumstances e.g family or religion.
Not exactly, but I lived in a different state for a year, when my then husband accepted a job offer in another. I LIKED my job, but did eventually quit it and move.
During my other long-term relationship, my guy was a merchant marine for several years, and was gone for up to five months at a time. I think that's why we lasted so long, really.
Mostly they don't last long unless both people meet up sooner than later, but there can be rare exceptions with the right two people under the right circumstances.
Exactly. Normally if you are under the age of 18 is much harder.
