Snacking has a lot to do with memories of breast-feeding. We love putting things in our mouths - chips, cheesies, gum, beer, cigs, lifesavers, jelly beans, etc... The best way to avert bad habits is to ensure that the RIGHT things go into your mouth - keep salad chips, cuc or carrot slices - on hand - in a bowl...they'll be gone in a twinkling. Amirite?
