Do you think the path of least resistance in human behaviour is socially conditioned or hardwired?
in many cases it comes from a misguided definition of 'comfort'
A sense of right or wrong.
It's the pleasure principle. We are hard wired to innately seek pleasure and avoid pain.
Then I guess you mean it comes from the womb, and there are indeed genetic links from what I read. Do you think that also goes for seeking pleasure by inflicting pain on others?
For me it is just past experience
It is socially conditioned. Once you've had to sit through a 2 hour religious service...you know enough to stay away from them in the future.
not past experience? how about future experience?
Laziness. I don't like doing anything but when I have to do something I try to be as quietly accommodating with others and/or just-efficient-enough to get whatever has to be done, done.
I was born this way.
